"Harry Potter 3" Diputar di Keong Emas

detikcom - Jakarta, Ingin menonton "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" dengan suasana yang berbeda dari bioskop-bioskop biasa? Datang saja ke Teater Imax Keong Emas. Mulai 26 Juni mendatang, "Harry Potter" akan diputar di teater yang berlokasi di Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) itu.

Awal 2004 ini, tim kecil dari Keong Emas melakukan studi banding ke Singapura. Mereka ingin melihat perkembangan teater Imax di sana.

Usai studi banding tersebut, manajemen Keong Emas akhirnya memutuskan untuk mengikuti jejak Singapura. Mereka bersepakat untuk tidak hanya memutar film-film khusus Imax saja. Mereka juga berencana memutar film-film box office.

Untuk menunjang hal tersebut, pihak manajemen akhirnya membeli seperangkat alat Digital Re-Mastery (DMR) dari Kanada.

"Dengan teknologi DMR, kita dapat mengubah film 35 mm menjadi 70 mm. Dengan demikian, film-film box office yang formatnya memang 35 mm bisa diputar di sini," jelas Hermansyah, staff Teater Imax Keong Emas, pada detikcom, Jumat (18/6/2004).

26 Juni mendatang, teater berkapasitas 900 orang penonton itu akan mulai memutar film box office. Dan "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" terpilih sebagai film box office pertama yang akan diputar di teater tersebut.

Sejak beberapa hari yang lalu, tiket sudah mulai dijual. Untuk kelas ekonomi, tiket dijual seharga Rp 40 ribu. Sedangkan kelas VIP yang berada di balkon dijual dengan harga Rp 75 ribu. Bagi yang ingin menonton film dengan kelas VIP, Anda sebaiknya mulai memesan tiket dari sekarang. Sebab kelas VIP hanya terbatas untuk 36 orang saja.

Untuk hari Selasa, Rabu, Kamis, dan Jumat, pemutaran akan dilakukan pada pukul 12.45, 16.20, dan 19.00 WIB.

Sedangkan untuk Sabtu dan Minggu, "Harry Potter 3" akan diputar pada pukul 16.55 dan 19.30 WIB.

Masih menurut Hermansyah, "Harry Potter 3" rencananya akan diputar di Keong Emas sampai dua bulan ke depan. Setelah itu? "Kita akan memutar film-film box office lainnya," tuturnya
